Norwegian regulators announced intentions going to the popular gay dating app Grindr with a superb of nearly $12 million over alleged data-sharing practices.
The Norwegian records defense expert claimed in a statement Tuesday it’s far alerted Grindr of their purpose to fine the organization 100 million Norwegian krone (approximately $11.7 million). The agency stated Grindr has the opportunity to feedback until Feb. 15, and then it will make their concluding decision.
The regulators accuse Grindr of illegally discussing customers’ personal data from complimentary version of the software with third parties for advertising reasons.
